Session Description: Introduction to the use of Lasers in Dentistry. This course will include the history of laser light, the science of laser energy and how to use lasers safely in a clinical setting. All wavelengths of the variety of lasers that can be used in dentistry will be discussed, including specific clinical applications. Many clinical examples will be shown and the remarkable results of post-operative healing. Laser Dentistry is minimally invasive dentistry.
Educational Objectives:
- Learn about the science and safety of laser dentistry.
- Learn how easy it is to incorporate lasers into a dental practice for many clinical situations.
- Learn how patients benefit by the effective use lasers in dentistry.
