Title: “Career Longevity for Dental Professionals, Ergonomics in Dentistry - Protect Your Money Maker!”

Speaker: Katrina Klein RDH, CEAS, CPT

Bio: Katrina is an 18-year practicing hygienist, international speaker, author, certified ergonomics assessment specialist, certified personal trainer, movement specialist and bio mechanics nerd. She founded ErgoFitLife where she coaches dental professionals’ ergonomics and posture fitness to reduce or eliminate pain.

Session Description: Dentistry doesn't have to hurt! Stop the aches and pains commonly felt by dental professionals, protect your career and physical health with the use of ergo equipment, ergo strategies and posture enhancing exercises in this highly interactive course.

Educational Objectives: Learn risks factors for work related pain, explore practical solutions for correct workspaces and ergonomic strategies, Demonstrate stretches for injury prevention, understand examples of posture exercises, Discover the hierarchy of wellness needs for dental professionals, identify signs of burnout, learn methods to incorporate intentional wellness in the business of dentistry.
